Each leaf in this series measures roughly 20" from stem to tip, large enough to command attention as wall art while still keeping the graceful proportions of the real thing.

The surfaces glow with golden heat patina, a color drawn out only with flame, no paint or pigment. To capture the natural texture of the leaf, I hand-ground fine lines with a pencil grinder, echoing the delicate veining that makes ginkgo leaves so mesmerizing.
