There was something about daisies that always drew me in. Cheerful, honest, and a little bit wild. I wanted to capture that spirit in a stainless steel daisy sculpture. The petals shimmer in the natural silver color of the metal, circling a golden center packed with hand-ground "seed" details. Every groove caught the light differently, just like the texture of a real daisy.

The leaves were where I really got to let the torch dance. Intricate and full of movement, they glow with shades of green, gold and even touches of magenta, all drawn out by nothing but flame. And instead of stopping at the bloom, I sculpted the whole plant down to its delicate roots, as if it had just been plucked from the earth and preserved in steel forever.

I was quite pleased with how this one turned out. It shows off the full anatomy of a metal daisy and never wilts!

This Daisy sculpture is wall hanging, made entirely of stainless steel, colored using only heat patinas, and must be kept indoors!
