Tulips have a way of holding drama in their simplicity, a few elegant petals, a bold stem, and suddenly they're the star of the show. I wanted to take that natural grace and translate it into stainless steel. The petals ran mostly blue, fading into purple with flashes of gold, while the leaves were striped green and magenta, each line bead rolled and heat-painted one pass at a time.

The stem itself was golden, a torch-born glow that anchored the bloom. But the real trick was at the heart of the flower: a center so bright and golden it almost looked lit from within. Nestled inside was a little pistil, hand-shaped and finished to complete the illusion of a metal tulip sculpture caught mid-bloom.

This Tulip sculpture is wall hanging, made entirely of stainless steel, colored using only heat patinas, and must be kept indoors!
