North Carolina is home to me and I have a certain affinity for the NC map. I love the complex river deltas entering the Pamlico Sound. I find it to be a beautiful state but maybe I'm biased.

So with that in mind I decided to create a metal North Carolina map as a piece of stainless steel wall art! It was fun grinding in all of the rivers and deltas, hammering in mountains, and bringing it to life in a new way! I ended up creating two sizes of NC maps. I made a larger one that measures 35" wide 14" tall 4" deep and a smaller one that measures 24" wide x 9" tall x 3" deep. See images of both above. I hope to be able to create more metal state maps down the road!

This North Carolina map sculpture is wall hanging, made entirely of stainless steel, colored using only heat patinas, and is safe to be kept outdoors!
